Welcome to your Blue NCZ carbon modelling data collection process.

In this form you will give us information about your business which will enable us to model your company’s carbon footprint.

You can save your progress at any point and return from where you left off. When you save and exit you will receive an email link which returns you to the last page you were filling in, there is also an option to copy and paste a unique link which returns you to the same point.

To fill in this form you will need access to the following information;

·       Info about your company (revenue, headcount, types of staff, commuting and home working etc.)

·       Info regarding your company’s purchased goods and services

·       Info regarding your company owned vehicles (if any)

·       Info regarding your business travel (if any)

·       info regarding regular deliveries to your company, or sent from your company

* Carbon modelling, is not ISO-14064-1:2006 compliant, or verified, it is based on responses to this activity-based questionnaire and data from the NCZ database of historical measured emissions for organisations.

If you wish to obtain more accurate information about your company’s carbon footprint, NCZ has 3 options to do this;

·       NCZ Silver Award – complete the modelled emissions questionnaire with an additional opportunity to submit more scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data to guide the end report. This offers greater accuracy but is not verified or ISO 14064 compliant.

·       NCZ Gold Certification – All benefits of Silver plus: NCZ Customer Success Team to support data collation and verify it for ISO compliance. Spend-based metrics are used to calculate purchased goods and services emissions.

·       NCZ Platinum Certification - Includes all the verified Gold Certification, plus a Supply Chain Engagement Programme to collect all supply chain emissions data, for reporting on and verification.

The other forms within this application will collect specific data about specific activities conducted by your company, this data is used to accurately calculate your total annual carbon footprint.

During the data collection process, you may find that you do not have access to certain data which we require to calculate your footprint. In these circumstances we can use a “Management Based Decision” (MBD), the information you provide here, in this form, is required for us to calculate aspects of your carbon footprint using MBDs.

Keep in mind that most of your carbon footprint data is required to be calculated based on actual measured business activities, not MBDs. So only use MBDs as a last resort if you genuinely cannot access some data. If too much of your annual carbon footprint calculation is derived from MBDs you may not be awarded your certification.
